Skien fritidspark, with 6 pools, a slide and saunas, is one of the largest sports facilities in Norway.
Do you love water? There’s plenty for you to look forward to when visiting us! You can do some wall climbing, take the plunge on the diving boards and try our water slide for a little whirl and spin. If you need a break, you can enjoy one of our comfortable sunbeds together with something tasty and refreshing from the café!
Waterpark
The 6 pools have water temperature between 28 – 34°c. Togheter in the same pool we got the climbing wall, and diving platform rising to a full height of 7.5 metres.. Will you manage to get to the top? When the bell rings it is time for the waves in the water pool, and afterwards you can take the plunge out into the stream channel and enjoy floating along with it. Looking for something even more exciting? Why not try the 106 metre long waterslide with a timer? Prepare for a speedy ride!
If you want to do some exercise, you can use the 25 m pool. At weekends and during holidays you can challenge yourself on the 18 metre long obstacle course. End your visit with a wonderful water massage or indulge yourself in the jacuzzi or sauna.
Adapted for the disabled
Large proportions of Skien fritidspark, including the hotel and activity park, is designed to meet special needs for the disabled, such as amply sized wheelchair accessible rooms at the hotel where some has lifts. There are also elevators, audio induction loop in meeting rooms and reserved parking at the front of the entrance.
Café
Café Aqua offers a tasty selection of hot and cold food, as well as refreshing drinks. Enjoy your meal in cosy surroundings in the swimming area!
